We recently had a conversation with over 30 prison chaplains across Indiana about screening our film, The Honest Struggle, at every prison in Indiana. A generous donor gifted an educational license to the film to the prison chaplains of the Indiana Department of Corrections in order to use the film as a learning tool for incarcerated men and women on reentry.
This act fulfills one of our main missions in telling the story of Sadiq in The Honest Struggle, helping those reentering society from prison traverse the difficult challenges ahead of them. We’re grateful for the opportunity to serve those who are in need of the message of the film and are finalizing a discussion guide for educators to expand the themes of the film into holistic learning and action.
